The Haven, Seil island

The dictionary definition of Haven is “a place of refuge and tranquillity”. It would be hard to find a more appropriate description for The Haven on the island of Seil. If you are looking for self-catering accommodation in a beautiful island setting then look no further.

Seil Island is connected to the mainland by the world famous Clachan Bridge “The bridge over the Atlantic”, and is only 14 miles south of Oban. Argyll is a particularly beautiful corner of Scotland, and our self catering cottage on Seil enjoys the benefits of island life with none of the issues of accessibility.

The Haven is an architecturally designed detached Scandinavian style self catering holiday cottage with spectacular views of Seil Sound and beyond to the islands of Luing, Scarba, Shuna and Jura, and more immediately the fishing village of Balvicar.

The Haven will comfortably sleep 6 in three bedrooms (two doubles, one with en-suite whirlpool bath, plus one twin) and has been completely refurbished and luxuriously fitted throughout. The lounge has Sky satellite television, dvd and video, CD player and a wood burning stove. The patio doors open out to the spacious decking and barbecue area overlooking the large garden and the spectacular view you can see above.
